Bill got rid of the Honda CRV and bought a Chevy Malibu. I don't know if it's the thrill of a new car or the thrill of the deal that he loves to get new cars. I love him no matter why he does it. I still have my XTS, amazing. I don't let him go for an oil change or he might come back with a different car.
I've added another sewing machine to my collection. It's a Singer 99-K and sews like a dream. I picked it up at an estate sale for $40. Perfect condition. I only had to clean it up, oil it, and tweak it a little. This little baby is 3/4 size. For comparison it is sitting on the right side of my little 1/2 size Featherweight. This 99-K was manufactured in 1956.
I also gained another toy sewing machine. It's a Betsy Ross. It also sews very well.

Last November, my son and stepson helped me lay down new laminate flooring. Gone is the carpet. Yeah, no more 'missing pins'. Jump ahead to last week. We had a water leak and my flooring got wet. I tore it out and reordered the flooring. It came in and Bill and I picked it up yesterday. I'll start laying it most likely on Sunday.

One of these days, I'll change the date on my camera!
My step granddaughter is in the Texas Girls Choir. She was here last weekend after practice and I snapped her picture. Isn't she just so sweet?
I can't think of anything else right now, but I will be blogging more often.
