and I'm not watching the game this year. Neither the Cowboys nor Steelers are playing, so I'm not interested. I also don't like to watch half time.
Bill has been feeling under the weather for the past 5 days. I've been doing my best to be a good wife and made him chicken noodle soup and french onion soup. I think he has bronchitis. He gets it every year. I'm trying to stay away from his germs and I might have succeeded in avoiding them.
I did work on my sweatshirt jacket (off and on). I have all the strips sewn onto the sweatshirt and I am putting pockets on it now. I've got one side done and I'm starting the do the other side. I wasn't thinking to great when I measured for the placement of the pocket. I've got them to close to the center so I'm just calling them my 'vest' pockets. I might put more pockets in the side seams. I'm not that fond of the jacket so far. It reminds me of an 'old' ladies jacket.
I'm not old! I'll just have to wait and see what it looks like after I get the zipper or buttons or something else and the binding on. I haven't decided what fabric I'm going to use for the binding. Anyway, here are some pictures (not sewn together yet)
