Bennie went over the Rainbow Bridge early this morning. He hadn't been eating or drinking in a couple of days. He would not take a treat or his meds. This morning he vomited a lot of blood. We got him to the vets and he was in renal failure. Sweetie and I made the hardest decision that we could face. We gave the go ahead to have him put asleep. We stayed with him until he fell asleep with the first injection then we left. I couldn't be there when he took his last breath. He would have been 12 years old on the 18th of this month.
Tanner is very distressed over his brother not being here.
